Brethren, we have been blessed to be involved in several different means of outreach in 2016. We have helped share the gospel in Africa, we have helped some attend schools of preaching and helped some in being able to teach in schools of preaching. I believe this congregation has done everything it can to help share the good news of Christ in whatever ways it could. We stopped our radio program in order to do House to House/Heart to Heart. While we have not had any conversions yet that we know of, we do have some actively involved in studying God’s word by means of the Bible Correspondence Courses. I would ask you to please keep these people in your prayers that they will do whatever they need to do to insure they are right with God.
All of the above are things the men will have to consider and discuss when putting our budget together for this coming year. With all of this we definitely want to keep first things first! That is strengthening each other as brethren and saving souls for eternity! We all know that there are unsaved souls all around us right here in our own community. In addition to this, we also know that there are those around us here that are Christians but have fallen away from the Lord. We need to do all we can in what ever way possible to reach out to these lost souls and try to bring them back to the Lord. We must remember Paul’s instructions to that young man, Timothy in 2 Timothy 4:1-2 where Paul told him, “I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: 2 preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction.” Paul’s instructions here apply not just to Timothy but to all Christians of all the ages. The Devil is going to do everything he can to discourage us or try to convince us we just can’t do it but, with the Lord’s help we can do what He wants us to do. “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me!” (Philippians 4:13)
Until next week, I love you all,
